49ers Coach Mike Nolan's Press Conference Notes: Week 2

  • Pleased with the way his team fought back and that it would pay dividends going forward.
  • Players got Tuesday off.
  • The defense brought five guys to blitz several times but they never got to the QB.
  • There were 7 passes by J.T. O'Sullivan over 20  yards.
  • Left Tackle Jonas Jennings was injured and came out due to a bad shoulder.
  • Doesn't know why Nate Clements got a penalty for celebrating the 86-yard TD by Patrick Willis.

    I am still rollin with nolan until we are out of playoff contention. If the team does poorly then we should go with mike martz though.
