NBA and NCAA games to watch on Sunday: Lakers vs Thunder and Knicks vs Heat

The marquee matchup to watch for on Sunday is the Lakers vs. Thunder game which will be shown on ABC.

Newly acquired Kendrick Perkins won't be suiting up for the Thunder due to injury and he will be out for a few more weeks.

The Lakers have lost three straight road games in a row.

ESPN has the late game with Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks taking on the Miami Heat. I expect the Heat to win this one as the Knicks don't play any defense at all. If the Knicks can't beat the Cavs, how can they beat the Heat?

Anthony is a great offensive player but his defense is horrible. Amare Stoudimire isn't known for his defense either so the Knicks will have to outscore teams in order to win.

There will be a lot of good NCAA games to watch on Sunday.

Pittsburgh vs. Louisville, UCONN vs. Cincinnati, Xavier vs. Dayton, Purdue vs. Michigan State, and Maryland vs. North Carolina are some of the intriguing games.

Does anyone care about UFC 127? BJ Penn Vs Jon Fitch

UFC 127:BJ Penn vs. Jon Fitch is happening tonight live on pay per view from Australia.

The main event has a fighter(Fitch) who isn't a big draw and has very boring fights. The co-main event between Jorge Rivera and Michael Bisping should be a fight that should only be a co-main event on a SPIKE TV or Versus Network show.

I think only diehard BJ Penn fans would want to see this pay per view. For casual MMA or UFC fans, paying 45 bucks for this card might not be worth it.

Penn vs. Fitch could be a boring three-round fight that ends up in a decision. Bisping vs. Rivera could be a mismatch as Bisping is a better technical fighter than Rivera.

The rest of the fights on the card aren't very intriguing either.

Who knows who Chris Camozzi is? How about Brian Ebersole or Kyle Noke?

The lack of big name fighters on this show is very apparent to MMA fans. The card resembles a Strikeforce Challengers card with so many unknown fighters on the show.

Sometimes fans anticipate a great show when there are a lot of big name fighters on the card and they get disappointed when the show doesn't live up to its hype.

That won't be a problem tonight as not a lot of fans are looking forward to UFC 127.

There might be some great fights tonight but how many fans will be forking over the $45 to watch it on pay per view?

Huge Fight inside Denny's Restaurant in Massachusetts

This is another fight video at a restaurant. I can't get enough of these fights. Funny how the patrons at the other tables don't even pay much attention to the fight and arguments going on around them. If I was there, I would be very wary and alert just in case a haymaker misses the intended victim. I don't want to end up unconscious due to being on the receiving end of a punch that wasn't even for me!

The Rock returns on WWE Monday Night Raw on Valentine's Day to host Wrestlemania

Wow,The Rock is back! Former WWE Superstar The Rock returned to the WWE ring and Monday Night Raw last night on Valentine's Day. He got on the mic and the fans in Anaheim went wild with thunderous cheers. Talk about a pop.

I haven't watched WWE and Monday Night Raw for many years and a big part of the reason was because The Rock left wrestling to pursue a acting career. Is he back for good or just for a short time to promote Wrestlemania where he will be the host of the big pay-per-view event?

He said he is "never ever going away" but I am not sure if he means it or not. I don't know if he will wrestle again but does it matter? The Rock is at his best on the mic.

The very popular website BarStool Sports recently posted two pictures of San Francisco Giants' outfielder Pat "The Bat" Burrell with hot bikini babes.

The pictures can be viewed here and are supposedly taken at Barry Zito's house.

Maybe this is why Burrell decided to sign with the Giants this season for only one million dollars. He may have gotten better offers from other clubs but why would you go somewhere else when you can party like a rock star in Northern California with his crazy Giants' teammates like Aubrey Huff?

Burrell is known as a party animal who is very good with the ladies and these photos of him just add to his legacy as a ladies' man.

Psychotic female fan asks San Francisco Giants' Buster Posey for his number

There's a lot of passionate San Francisco Giants' fans these days thanks to the Giants winning the World Series last year. The Giants last Saturday had their annual FanFest which drew almost 50,000 fans.

It was so packed around AT&T Park that the Giants locked their gates early in the morning and denied entry to many of their fans who drove their cars and took public transportation to see their favorite players such as Buster Posey, Tim Lincecum, and Brian Wilson.

One of the more hilarious moments came during an autograph session with Posey when a crazy female fan came up to him and started screaming about how sexy and hot Posey is.

Posey was probably glad that he had a few San Francisco police officers beside him as security during that moment with the fan.

Posey's reaction after he turns to the camera is priceless. You can check out this entertaining moment starting at the 2:50 mark of this video here.

Not to be outdone by the psychotic woman is the fan behind her who manages to make Posey and the fans in the area laugh when he gets his chance to meet Posey.

Pro Football Talk reports that Jim Harbaugh and Alex Smith are working together

This story by ProFootballTalk.com might make a lot of San Francisco 49ers and their fans very unhappy.

According to the article, Jim Harbaugh has been meeting with soon to be free agent Alex Smith and not only have they been talking, they also have been throwing the football around as well.

Harbaugh could just be blowing smoke but he has been very complimentary of Smith in interviews.

I might be the biggest Alex Smith apologist in the Bay Area and I think he could be a good stop gap for the 49ers until they find their future starting quarterback.

What are the other alternatives? The 49ers could trade for Carson Palmer, Donovan McNabb, or Kevin Kolb. What are the chances of bringing Brett Favre back from retirement?

Any of these options would be better than having David Carr behind center when the season starts.

Here's a very disturbing story and video on a young woman who is pregnant and went to Safeway to get a pill but the pharmacist made a mistake and gave her the wrong pill that could cause her to lose her baby. What happened was the Safeway pharmacist gave the pregnant lady another woman's prescription.

Can you say lawsuit? The sad thing about this situation is the young woman could lose her baby or her baby could have some serious health issues. She should have looked at the name on the bottle before she took the pill though.

Wilson was on Twitter before but deleted his account after some fans and media criticized him for some of his tweets. He was tweeting about partying all night long and was criticized for that even though he maintained that he was tweeting from his hotel room on the road.

What's up with D- List celebrities these days making sex videos and then having  them "leaked"? What a joke that is! We all know that they are the ones that leaked the videos and tapes online. Women like Kendra Wilkinson, Tila Tequila, and Athena Bautista just want to get their name out there so their 15 minutes of fame will last longer.

For those that don't know, Athena Bautista is a 18-year-old with a famous father, Dave Bautista. Her father was a longtime WWE wrestler. I wonder how he feels about the sex tape of her and a guy in bed.

Wilkinson had a sex tape with a MMA fighter named Justin Fyre. I cover MMA and I have never heard of Fyre. Does he have any relation to Don Fyre? I wonder how Wilkinson's husband, Hank Bassett, feels about the sex tape. He might not care anymore since I read on a website that they were divorcing.

As for Tequila, her sex tape is with a woman. I heard this was not her first leaked sex tape. A reader of this blog emailed me a link to her sex tape and I think I've seen better acting in a porn movie.

The loud moans were way over the top and I don't find her very attractive at all. Call me crazy but I was not impressed with her performance.

Someone wake me up when an A-list celebrity has a sex tape leaked. Jennifer Anniston, Angelina Jolie, Megan Fox, or some other popular actress would give porn websites like Pornhub.com more traffic than D-listers.

U.S. Homeland Security takes down many streaming websites showing UFC and sports streams

The U.S. Homeland Security Department has apparently shut down or seized the domains of many of the most popular streaming websites to watch sporting events such as Atdhe.net, Channelsurfing.net, ilemi.com, and firstrow.net.

These websites streamed live sporting events such as NFL  and NBA games as well as UFC pay-per-views.
The UFC recently sued the website Justin.tv and they must be very thrilled about today's news.

UFC commentator Joe Rogan is known to say "You can't stop the internet" but it looks like the UFC and the U.S. Homeland Department are trying to do its best to contain the illegal streams.

I wonder if there will be a bigger buy rate for UFC 126 this Saturday night due to the shutdown of many of these streaming sites.

Other websites will pop up and stream sporting events and the battle waged between the UFC and the websites that continue to host illegal streams will continue to go on.

UFC 126 Pre-fight Press Conference with Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort

The UFC had their pre-fight press conference earlier this afternoon and here are some news and notes from the presser.

In attendance were UFC President Dana White, Anderson Silva, Vitor Belfort, Ryan Bader, Rich Franklin, Jon Jones, Kid Yamamoto, and Forrest Griffin.

White started off the press conference by saying he is excited about the great card and Super Bowl weekend.

White said all the fans are talking about Jon Jones vs. Ryan Bader. He said the event is sold out.

Kid Yamamoto's fight will be on Facebook.com. Yamamoto told White that he will win Fight of the Night.

Yamamoto said that he is very excited about making his UFC debut and he never expected to fight in the UFC because the UFC didn't have his weight class before. He's excited to be fighting along with some of the best fighters in the world.

Silva did not have Ed Soares as a translator in the beginning of the presser.  Silva's translator was asked by White to translate a question asked by a Brazilian reporter, and the translator said he didn't hear the question. White was clearly annoyed by this and basically fired the translator.

Soares sat next to the translator and basically took the translator's job away from him.

Silva wore sunglasses at the presser. He said "The fight of the decade would be me fighting my clone. Some of the things I sacrifice to be the champ is being away from my family along with the bumps and bruises from training.

Belfort said "Without sacrifice, we cannot achieve anything."  He said he trained real hard for the fight and that Silva is the best pound for pound fighter in the world.

The challenger to the light middleweight title also said he doesn't have a lot of pressure right now and that he doesn't have to impress anyone anymore. He had a lot of pressure when he was 19 years old and fighting in the UFC but not now.

Cornering Belfort will be Ray Sefo, Randy Couture, and Neil Melanson.

.Jon Jones said he fights the body and not the name.

Ryan Bader said Jones is very talented, dynamic, and unorthodox.

Franklin said he isn't thinking of a shot at the title. The former teacher said he knows he is fighting a tough opponent and that he expects to have his afterparty at the ER.

Most of the questions asked by the media in attendance were by Brazilian reporters.

White had the fighters pose for pictures after the press conference was over and the most intense staredown was between Silva and Belfort.

UFC 126 is this Saturday night live on pay-per-view.

 What a huge and impressive swat by Reginald Buckner of Ole Miss  last night against Brandon Knight of Kentucky.Fans were chanting "You got swatted" after the incredible block by Buckner. Ole Miss won 71-69 on a clutch three-pointer by Chris Warren with about two seconds left in the game.
