Funny interview by Melanie Collins with Denver Nugget Danilo Gallinari talking about taking a "sheet"
I got to admit this was one funny video. Is it going to be controversial or appropriate? I'm not sure but it made me laugh. I'm sure this video will go viral soon.
The video is for a company selling energy strips called Sheets. It already has LeBron James in an ad as well. I wonder if these strips really work. I doubt it's a magic pill or anything and make me play as good as LeBron or shoot like Gallinari.

Why I don't watch Bellator fights on MTV2
Bellator is the number two fighting promotion in the United States after the UFC bought Strikeforce but I just can't get into their shows or their fighters. They have a show every Saturday night on the cable channel MTV2 but not every cable subscriber even gets that channel.
Having weekly shows on Saturday nights is a bad idea because at least once a month they have to compete with a UFC pay per view show, and there are also lots of other things to do on a Saturday night besides watching MMA fighters that you have never heard of.
I consider myself a big fan of MMA and even I don't watch their shows. I did watch their shows when they were on Thursday nights on the local Comcast or Fox affiliate. Back then, they had fighters like Roger Huerta on their shows.
Huerta is known by fans who watch the UFC but these days, the current crop of fighters on a Bellator card are basically unknowns.
How many of the Bellator fighters would make it in the UFC? I think Ben Askren, Eddie Alvarez, and Hector Lombard come to mind but the rest of their roster are just a bunch of guys that even the hardcore fans would not even recognize.
While the UFC is like the NFL of MMA, Bellator is like the UFL(United Football League). Fans don't know or care about the organization or the athletes.
Bellator would probably be more successful if they promoted their fighters better. As much as fans want to see entertaining fights, they also want to know about the fighters inside the cage. Fans want to get behind a fighter and cheer that fighter on, or hate a fighter so much that they want to see that fighter get knocked out.

A lot of these fighters have interesting stories and personalities but it doesn't matter when no one knows who they are or anything about them.
No one is going to stay home and watch nameless fighters on a Saturday night when there are a lot of other alternatives and options as far as entertainment goes.
For example, the past card had a fight between Richard Hale and D.J. Linderman. Who are these guys? That's the problem that Bellator faces as they go forward.
If fans don't care about the fighters, they won't watch the fights. UFC 129 is this Saturday night and the casual MMA fan doesn't even know who Jake Shields is.
Shields is the challenger in the main event at UFC 129.
How can you expect them to want to watch Richard Hale fight on a Bellator show when they don't even know who Jake Shields is?
What Bellator might need to do is sign some UFC veterans that might be available to them in the near future. For example, Tito Ortiz would be a great addition to Bellator. Many fans would tune into a Bellator show to watch Ortiz fight even if his best days might be behind him.
I don't think having their shows on MTV2 helps them as not every fan gets MTV2. It might be better if their shows were on HDNet or another cable channel that is more widely available than MTV2.
I hope Bellator will be successful and I'm sure I will tune into one of their shows once again, but right now, I rather go out on a Saturday night than stay in and watch their fights.

Denver Nuggets' J.R. Smith's amazing quarterback throw into the hoop
What an amazing shot by Denver Nugget J.R. Smith! Check out this great video below as Smith throws the ball like he is Tim Tebow. You need to have a strong arm and shoulder to be able to perform this throw/pass. Very impressive!

San Francisco McDonald's fight during the World Series: Huge brawl
The good stuff happens after the 1:15 mark or so and a shirtless customer actually gets behind the counter later on in the video as he tries to fend off two big Latino men. This is a huge brawl and doesn't reflect on San Francisco very well at all.
I've been to this McDonald's right near AT&T ballpark many times and never seen such foolishness and drama.

White girl gets beat up and has seizure at McDonald's
Damn, this is one crazy video we got here today from WorldStarHipHop.com. A young white woman gets beat up by a few Black women and the woman at the end gets a serious seizure near the entrance door.
I'm suprised none of the men tried to do anything to stop the Black girls from continuing the onslaught. A senior citizen had the decency to try to stop the beatdown. She's lucky she didn't get beat up too.

Great motivational and inspirational speech from Ray Lewis to the Elon football team
Ray Lewis, the great Baltimore Ravens' linebacker, spoke to the Elon football team after their spring practice and his speech was one of the most powerful speeches I have ever heard. Once Lewis retires from the NFL, he can make good money as a motivational public speaker.

Man gets knocked out by a head kick at a skate park
Check out the video below of a guy getting knocked out by a head kick at a skate park. Looks like the two are having an argument and the loser of the fight gets slapped and then kicked to the ground.
I don't know about you but if a guy gets in my face like that, I would have my hands up just in case of a slap or a sucker punch.

Meredith Divita interviews Jake Shields about his UFC 129 fight against Georges St.Pierre
UFC welterweight fighter sat down with Meredith DiVita of KNOXX Gear recently to promote is upcoming fight.
Shields will be challenging UFC welterweight champion, Georges St.Pierre (GSP) for the title on April 30 at the Rogers Centre in Toronto. The show will be shown live on pay-per-view.
In the under four-minute video, the San Francisco-based fighter says, "I'm not going out there to give Georges a good fight. I"m going out there to bring the belt home."
Shields said he was surprised to hear that Strikeforce was bought by the UFC and that he thinks wrestling is the best base for a young fighter because wrestling is harder to learn when you get older.
One of the more interesting questions that was asked by DiVita was when she asked Shields if he would fight his teammate from the Cesar Gracie camp, Nick Diaz.
Shields didn't give a definitive "no" to that question which surprised me. Shields said "It's not like I"m saying I won't fight him but I'd prefer to try to find another solution."
He said he isn't going to worry about that situation right now, and that he or Diaz could move up and down a weight class just like they did when both were with Strikeforce.
If Shields shockingly upsets GSP on April 30, and Diaz has no challengers left in Strikeforce, UFC President Dana White could be asking these two fighters to get it on in the Octagon in the near future.

Dad roots on his son to beat up another kid in a street fight
Wow, what is up with these horrible parents encouraging their kids to beat up other kids? A teen punk beating up another teen punk. Let's have the other kid's dad fight the cheerleader dad too. I hate bullies and the crazy father saying "Punch his eyes out" is just disturbing.
