• Pittsburgh and Marquette were both very impressive tonight.
• Biggest upset was Northern Illinois over Akron.
• North Carolina barely defeated Virginia 75-74. They were still tired coming off a big emotional victory on Sunday in double-overtime against Clemson.
• Illinois destroyed Minnesota 84-60. Big win for them on the road.
• Vanderbilt destroyed Kentucky 93-52. Tonight was a night of blowouts.
