San Francisco Giants pitcher Matt Cain was presented with a commemorative samurai sword from Mizuno yesterday before his start against the Angels. Mizuno is a Japanese sports equipment company that sponsors Cain.
Mizuno gave Cain the sword in honor of his perfect game against the Houston Astros last week.
Cain said the sword would be awesome to have in his house.
After the ceremony, Cain pitched five innings while giving up three runs to beat the Angels 5-3.
